What is the difference between bookkeeping and accounting
Bookkeeping and accounting aren't the same. In a nutshell, the bookkeeper is responsible for recording the day-to-day work which would then be passed over to the accountant, who can concentrate on your business’s strategic financial operations. Without the bookkeeper, the accountants will not be able to do their job.
What you need to know
Your bookkeeper or virtual assistant works remotely, and we may never step into your office. We can undertake any task that you need help with provided that we have the information and software availalbe to us. We provide and user our own computer and equipment, if additional software is required (ie Xero) this will be at your cost.

Our Story
Support Solutions has been providing clients with personalised admin and bookkeeping services throughout Hawke's Bay and New Zealand since 2007. Our services are aimed at assisting small businesses with administration and bookkeeping tasks that are so essential but often end up in the “too hard” basket.

Discovery Call - When you first contact us we will ask you some questions about you, your business and the tasks that you would like us to complete.
Proposal & Quote - We we design a tailored proposal and quote which will include details discussed in our discovery call.
Kickoff & Handover - Initially you may need to invest some time coaching your Bookkeeper/VA in how you like your tasks completed. This can be done with a simple Zoom meeting which is recorded for future reference or a simple handover document detailing the steps. Training on your individual programmes is useful and assists us to know the way you would like your tasks processed.
We are superfast learners and will ask questions if we are not sure.
